Cisco Systems Names Senior Vice President and Promotes Four to Vice President.


SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 26, 1996--Cisco Systems, Inc. today announced five new members of the executive management team from internal promotions.

Effective immediately, Selby Wellman will become senior vice president responsible for coordinating strategies and setting priorities among five Cisco business units.

Clifford B. Meltzer, a three-year Cisco employee, replaces Wellman as vice president and general manager of the InterWorks Business Unit based in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Kevin Kennedy joined Cisco two years ago and will become vice president of the Regional/Branch Office Division of the Access Business Unit.

Tom Daly, a six-year Cisco employee, will become vice president of engineering in the Workgroup Business Unit responsible for numerous switching products, and Christine Hemrick has been named vice president of marketing for the Internet Business Unit; she has been with Cisco five years.
