The Output Interpreter compliments a host of online tools already available on the Cisco TAC Web site, announced January 24, 2000.

The Output Interpreter provides our customers with the flexibility they need to troubleshoot their networks, search for information and find solutions at any time," says Sean Iverson, marketing manager for the Cisco Technical Assistance Center Web team. "Developing tools and content that allow our customers to maintain their networking equipment and applications is mission-critical to the Cisco TAC Web team."

The Output Interpreter tool supports selected "show" commands for Access and ATM technologies. Access technologies enable users to dial into and connect with a network from remote sites using a telco infrastructure. They include technologies from the following:


--   Digital subscriber line (DSL)
--   Modems and other asynchronous devices
--   Integrated services digital network (ISDN)
--   Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)
--   Dial-on-demand routing
