Cisco Names Cbeyond Its "IP Innovator at the CompTel Expo 2006".


Leading IP-Based Managed Service Provider Recognized for Innovation in Converged Voice and Data Service Delivery

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Cisco([R]) today announced that it has recognized Cbeyond (Nasdaq:CBEY CBEY Center for Business and the Environment at Yale ), a managed services An umbrella term for third-party monitoring and maintaining of computers, networks and software. It also demultiplexes the incoming streams into their respective channels.  2400 Series smart integrated access devices, Cisco 10000 Series edge services routers, Cisco Catalyst([R]) 6500 Series Switches, Cisco 5850 Series Routers, Cisco AS5000 Voice Gateways and Cisco BTS BTS - Bug Tracking System  softswitches. Additionally, Cbeyond, Cisco and others recently launched a managed SIP trunking service, based on the SIPconnect specification, which is a SIP Forum recommendation.
