Cisco Chooses Azimuth Test Solution to Automate CCX Certification; Azimuth W-Series Streamlines Certification Process for Wi-Fi Silicon and System Vendors.

ACTON, Mass. -- Azimuth Systems Inc., the leading provider of Wi-Fi(R) engineering test equipment, today announced that Cisco Systems, Inc.(R) is using the Azimuth W-Series test platform for the Cisco Compatible Extensions (CCX) certification program. CCX certification ensures the compatibility of wireless local area network (WLAN) devices with Cisco's industry-leading WLAN technology.

Cisco will put the Azimuth W-Series platform, with an automated CCX test script to streamline the testing process, into the designated CCX testing center at Keylabs to perform CCX validation testing. This will help silicon and system manufacturers achieve CCX certification more quickly than previously possible.
