Cirrus Logic's CobraNet LE Offers Cost Effective CobraNet Solution For Wall, Ceiling Speakers.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Cirrus Logic Inc. (Nasdaq: CRUS), in conjunction with engineering and design services firm Attero Tech, have introduced CobraNet LE([TM]) technology, a low-cost, stereo implementation of Cirrus Logic's industry leading CobraNet networked digital audio technology. CobraNet LE technology dramatically lowers implementation costs and power consumption and simplifies system design for deploying CobraNet technology into network end nodes, such as wall and ceiling speakers and audio wall boxes.

By enabling a lower cost CobraNet-based solution, CobraNet LE technology helps to lower the barrier of entry into networked digital audio over Ethernet for those customers who are still developing traditional analog audio networks.

CobraNet LE technology is available for purchase as a market-ready CobraNet LE Reference Design or as an IC from Attero Tech. The CobraNet LE Reference Design is priced at $299 and the IC is available for $7.81 in quantities of 10,000.
