Cirrus Health Appoints Sheryl D. Dodds Senior Vice President of Operations, Western Region.

TROPHY CLUB, Texas -- Cirrus Health announced today the appointment of Sheryl D. Dodds to senior vice president of operations, western region. Dodds will oversee the operations of the six Cirrus Health facilities currently located in California as well as future development of facilities in the western region.

Dodds most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Nebraska Heart Institute, P.C. Her leadership to the Practice spanned seven offices, 40 hospital-based clinics, 280 employees, and 32 physicians. She was responsible for the clinical, operational and financial performance of the Practice. In addition, Dodds facilitated continued growth of the company while building and operating the physician-owned Nebraska Heart Hospital. Highlights include: grew the Practice from 19 physicians to 32, expanded the market by opening two offices in large metropolitan area, an office in a rural community, and further developed the outreach program of hospital based clinics in rural Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. She facilitated patient satisfaction and quality improvement programs and staff management resulted in turnover less than 15 percent. During her service at Nebraska Heart Institute, P.C. Dodds served as chief executive officer of Nebraska Heart Hospital, L.L.C. She facilitated the development and oversaw on-going operations of the 63-bed, physician-owned Heart Hospital.

Ms. Dodds received her Master of Science with Health Care Administration focus from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree was received from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.
