S To quote the review of the hardcover in KLIATT, January 2005: we have all heard about the pressure on ballerinas to conform to Verb 1. conform to - satisfy a condition or restriction; "Does this paper meet the requirements for the degree?" fit, meet coordinate - be co-ordinated; "These activities coordinate well" the ideal body image--tall, thin, long legs, no breasts, long neck. Kayla is a talented dancer in a special high school that focuses on the arts. She has large breasts; even her teacher suggests that she consider plastic surgery to reduce the size of her breasts and thereby open up the possibility of a career in ballet. This takes Kayla, her talented older sister Paterson, and her best friend and fellow dancer, Joey (who is gay) on a figurative fig·u·ra·tive adj. 1. a. Based on or making use of figures of speech; metaphorical: figurative language. b. Containing many figures of speech; ornate. 2. journey of exploration of just how far an artist, a woman, should conform in order to succeed. A new student at school, Gray, helps them get some perspective and becomes a love interest for Kayla. The language from the beginning is pretty suggestive sug·ges·tive adj. 1. a. Tending to suggest; evocative: artifacts suggestive of an ancient society. b. : "It isn't every day you walk into your sister's bedroom and find a naked guy on her bed, especially when that guy is your best friend, Joey." (He is posing nude for Paterson to draw.) There is frank talk of breast sizes, circumcised or uncircumcised uncircumcised Urology Referring to a ♂ or penis which has not been circumcised. The theme is a serious one, however, and Cirrone writes with humor humor, according to ancient theory, any of four bodily fluids that determined man's health and temperament. Hippocrates postulated that an imbalance among the humors (blood, phlegm, black bile, and yellow bile) resulted in pain and disease, and that good health was and intelligence.
