Cirilium Power-Suite Wins Another Major Industry Award; Communications Solutions Magazine Awards Cirilium Power-Suite 'Product of the Year' for 2000.

), announced today that Communications Solutions(TM) magazine has awarded "Product of the Year" to Cirilium's Power-Suite.

This past December, Cirilium was the recipient of another "Product of the Year" award from Internet Telephony Another term for IP telephony and VoIP. In the late 1990s, some people made a distinction between Internet Telephony and VoIP: Internet telephony referred to voice over the public Internet, while VoIP referred to voice over private IP networks. Communications Solutions' Product of the Year award is designed to recognize the most significant contributions during the year 2000. The selection committee based its results on activities conducted during the course of the previous year, including briefings at trade shows, discussions during on-site visits, interviews supplementing research for articles, hands-on testing and review of formal applications.

Citing Communications Solutions' announcement, the 2000 Product of the Year awards "present a picture of the year, as constituted by the year's most memorable and significant releases, that is, the year's most interesting new products."
