Circus comes to town.


PREPARE to be dazzled by comedy capers and death-defying daredevils as the circus hits town.

Uncle Sam's Great American Circus has set up its big top on Clairville Common in Middlesbrough.

Ringmaster Matthew Wingate, 22, said: "We have got lots of new acts since last time we were here. We don't want to give too much away but we have the Globe of Death, with motorbike riders in a giant metal ball."

Professor Wacko lived up to his name while the circus was in Wales Wales, Welsh Cymru, western peninsula and political division (principality) of Great Britain (1991 pop. 2,798,200), 8,016 sq mi (20,761 sq km), west of England; politically united with England since 1536. The capital is Cardiff.  earlier this year. He took his giant clown boots to a shoe repairer, but then couldn't remember the shop. It took much sole searching and a newspaper appeal before he got his boots back.

Ringmaster Matthew, said: "People in the North love the circus."

The traditional animal-free circus is in town until Sunday.

Performance times are 5pm and 7.30pm weekdays, 2.30pm and 6pm on Saturday and 2pm and 4.30pm on Sunday. The booking office is open daily on site from 9.30am to 8pm.
