Sales for the first quarter of 2000 decreased to $208,068 from $374,293 in the same period last year. The Company recorded a net loss for the first quarter of 2000 of $206,848, or $0.34 per share, compared to a net loss of $170,524, or $0.42 per share, in the same quarter of 1999. The decrease in revenue and wider loss reflect slower demand across product lines, as well as the negative effects created by the decision to liquidate To pay and settle the amount of a debt; to convert assets to cash; to aggregate the assets of an insolvent enterprise and calculate its liabilities in order to settle with the debtors and the creditors and apportion the remaining assets, if any, among the stockholders or owners of the the Company by the Board of Directors in July of 1999. As previously reported, this decision was subsequently reversed in conjunction with Jay Brentlinger's investment in Circuit Research Labs.
