Circuit Components Inc. Acquires Bus Bar Product Line from Bussco Corp.

) of Tempe, Ariz., has acquired the bus bar business of Bussco Corp. of Torrance Torrance, industrial and residential city (1990 pop. 133,107), Los Angeles co., SW Calif.; inc. 1921. It has large aircraft and electronics industries. Among its many manufactures are aircraft, electronics, communications equipment, aluminum products, steel, and , Calif. The bus bar product line, now the Bussco Division of CCI, has been moved to CCI's 31,000-square-foot plant in Tempe, and the company is working closely with customers and suppliers to ensure a smooth transition so that bus bar needs will not be affected by the move.

Established as an independent company in 1992, CCI is the former Circuit Components Division of Rogers Corp., and is a leading manufacturer of printed circuit board bus bars and board stiffeners. Most of the management and technical staff of CCI have previous experience in the bus bar industry, with some having pioneered the use of bus bars in computers.

Together with CCI's technical group, the key Bussco sales and technical people who have joined CCI will enable the transferred operation to offer its customers greater depth of technical resources.
