Goldman Sachs Group Inc., down $1.97 at $203.53 Shares fell, even though the world's biggest investment bank posted third-quarter results that beat analyst forecasts, showing that it fared much better during August's credit troubles and market volatility than most anticipated. Motorola Inc., up 47 cents at $17.82; Nokia Corp., up 21 cents at $36.79 The two cell phone makers were upgraded by an analyst at Cowen & Co., who said the sector should benefit from an upcoming shortage of handsets later this year. NASDAQ Nasdaq Stock Market Inc., up 49 cents at $36.51 The Nasdaq sold a nearly 20 percent stake to Borse Dubai and took control of the Nordic exchange operator OMX. The deal also made Borse Dubai and a group from Qatar the largest stakeholders in the London Stock Exchange. BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Inc., down $3.78 at $8.00 The company's flu drug peramivir did not significantly improve flu symptoms compared with a placebo in a mid-stage trial. ACI Worldwide Inc., down $2.97 at $23.51 The provider of software for electronic payment systems swung to a third-quarter loss and lowered its 2007 earnings and revenue guidance.
