Circle Net, Inc. Announces Purchase Agreement for $13.8 Million of Proxim's Stratum Wireless Ultra-Broadband Equipment.

) and Circle Net, Inc., today announced a strategic volume purchase agreement to install and service Proxim's (Nasdaq:PROX) Stratum 20 and 100 product lines -- unlicensed UNI-I band wireless Ethernet The standard for wireless networking within a home or office. Also known as a "Wi-Fi" or "802.11" network, wireless Ethernet is the wireless counterpart to regular, wired Ethernet, which is also the standard for local networks. Under terms of the agreement, Circle Net, Inc. became a master reseller for Proxim's Stratum units and committed to purchase $13.8 million in Proxim equipment over the next 18 months. Circle Net, Inc. will deliver, install, and service the Stratum line for businesses that require mission-critical and rapid-fire Internet services, voice phone lines, video and data connectivity. Circle Net, Inc. will also utilize the Stratum line in its nationwide ultra-broadband data and voice network, known as RocketLauncher.

RocketLauncher uses state-of-the art wireless technology providing 20 to 100 million bits-per-second of data connectivity to its clients. This kind of raw speed means that RocketLauncher is more than 60 times faster than a T-1, and more than 30 times faster than most DSL DSL
