Ciprico and General Dynamics Announce Technology Agreement.

Ciprico Inc. (NASDAQ:CPCI) has signed a technology license agreement with General Dynamics Information Systems (GDIS) where GDIS will incorporate Ciprico's FibreSTORE RAID technology in the manufacture of a fully militarized version for their Tactical Disk Recording System (TDRS) product line. General Dynamics Information Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE:GD).

The General Dynamics TDRS, available first quarter 2002, is a compact, flight worthy data translator, storage, and retrieval system that translates and stores flight test data or high bandwidth sensor data. Designed for use in the severe environments of tactical aircraft or sensor pods attached to a tactical aircraft, TDRS provides reliable, high performance recording and capacities unequalled by competitive recording systems. The TDRS is unique in that the design includes licensed high-bandwidth RAID technology based on Ciprico's commercially successful FibreSTORE RAID.
