Kodak to Provide On-Site Service for Next Generation DiMeda(TM)

(Nasdaq:CPCI), the leading provider of storage and system solutions that simplify and accelerate digital media workflows, today announced its selection of Kodak Service & Support, a business unit of Eastman Kodak Company as its U.S. service provider for Ciprico's line of DiMeda(TM) storage solutions. Ciprico's award-winning DiMeda products facilitate real-time file sharing between multiple workstations, specialty servers, and archival systems - ideal for data-intensive applications, such as video production, news editing, and medical imaging Picture Archival and Communications Systems (PACS).

Under this agreement, Kodak Service & Support will provide three levels of 7x24 and Help Desk support for Ciprico's DiMeda family of products, including its newest offering, Advantage On-Site. For those customers requiring round-the-clock on-site service and support - like news stations and hospitals and clinics - having immediate service is crucial. With Advantage On-Site, Ciprico's North American customers will receive on-site service and replacement parts in four hours or less. Ciprico and Kodak Service & Support expect to expand this coverage to additional markets for Ciprico's European and Pac-Rim customers.
