Ciprico Announces Board of Director Appointment.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Ciprico Inc. (Nasdaq:CPCI) today appointed Mr. Gary Hokkanen, Chief Operating Officer of the Carlson Marketing Group as an independent director on its Board of Directors.

James Hansen, Acting CEO of Ciprico said, "We are honored to have a person of Gary's caliber join our board. His 20 years of executive experience in technology based companies, strong performance orientation and current role in a global marketing services company are important competencies we look forward to benefiting from for many years to come." Mr. Hokkanen is a graduate of the Presidio at Monterey and the AMP program at Harvard University.

Hokkanen replaces Thomas G. Hudson, Chairman and CEO of Computer Network Technology Corporation (Nasdaq:CMNT), who resigned due to the increased time commitment of serving on other public company boards. Mr. Hokkanen will fill the remainder of Mr. Hudson's term expiring in 2005.
