 Significant Messaging Security Opportunity in Asia

CipherTrust, the leader in messaging security, today announced the expansion of the Company into the Asia Pacific region. Headquartered in Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov. , CipherTrust's Asia Pacific Operations will be led by Hansen Chang, a 20-year technology veteran of the region, as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific Sales and Operations.

Chang's 20-year career spans the successful creation and operation of international initiatives at some of the largest, most successful technology companies in the world, including a position at IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  as the General Manager of Tivoli for the Greater China region. Most recently, he was the General Manager of NetScreen Technology International, Ltd., and held the position of Vice President of Asia Pacific Sales at the Company. During his four-year tenure at NetScreen, Chang grew Asia Pacific operations from start-up to more than $100 million in revenues.

In addition, Chang has held a management position at SunSoft International, a Sun Microsystems Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAVA[3]) is an American vendor of computers, computer components, computer software, and information-technology services, founded on 24 February 1982.  company, where he set up their China and Hong Kong operations. He began his career with Fairchild Semiconductor and has also worked at Wang Laboratory, Inc. and The Santa Cruz Operation See SCO.
