CipherTrust Launches Asia Pacific Business Unit.

ATLANTA -- Former NetScreen Executive Hansen Chang Appointed to Lead Sales and Operations to Capitalize on Significant Messaging Security Opportunity in Asia

CipherTrust, the leader in messaging security, today announced the expansion of the Company into the Asia Pacific region. Headquartered in Hong Kong, CipherTrust's Asia Pacific Operations will be led by Hansen Chang, a 20-year technology veteran of the region, as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific Sales and Operations.

After the successful 2003 launch in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), which now includes seven offices, the Atlanta-based company has committed to continue expanding its global reach. This latest phase of CipherTrust's growth will introduce the company's award-winning IronMail appliance to a new group of companies, and more directly service those enterprises already using IronMail in the Asia Pacific region.

Chang's 20-year career spans the successful creation and operation of international initiatives at some of the largest, most successful technology companies in the world, including a position at IBM as the General Manager of Tivoli for the Greater China region. Most recently, he was the General Manager of NetScreen Technology International, Ltd., and held the position of Vice President of Asia Pacific Sales at the Company. During his four-year tenure at NetScreen, Chang grew Asia Pacific operations from start-up to more than $100 million in revenues.

In addition, Chang has held a management position at SunSoft International, a Sun Microsystems company, where he set up their China and Hong Kong operations. He began his career with Fairchild Semiconductor and has also worked at Wang Laboratory, Inc. and The Santa Cruz Operation. Chang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge.
