Cipher Systems Releases Upgrades to Knowledge.Works Enterprise Competitive Intelligence Software.

CROFTON, Md. -- Cipher Systems, the full service strategic research consultancy, launched today the 2007 innovations available in their award-winning enterprise CI software Knowledge.Works(TM). This year, enhanced collaboration and time-saving features are added to the already robust toolkit.

New modules include:

* Company Profiler - This workflow enables the easy creation and comparison of company profiles.

* Event Management - This module now includes the ability to manage information collection at a variety of events including meetings, conferences and trade shows. It provides the user with calendar population, KIQ assignments, event scheduling (which includes viewing, printing and notification functionalities), the ability to email links to internal and external customers and contributors, and the ability to view and manage meeting/seminar contributions.

* Project Management - Define and manage intelligence projects including: scheduling, team assignments, monitoring of activities, alerts, management views, email capability and much more.

Other enhancements in the Collaboration features include user commenting and sharing, a more inclusive article forwarding ability, and user group creation. Time-saving functionalities, such as a user-specific clipboard, user-administered help, and greater auditing ability, are also highlights of the 2007 Knowledge.Works system.
