Intrado Inc. (NasdaqNM:TRDO), the nation's leading provider of solutions that manage and deliver mission-critical information for telecommunications providers, today announced that Cingular Wireless chose Intrado to be a supplier of Phase I and Phase II wireless 9-1-1 services.

Cingular Wireless, with more than 21.3 million subscribers, is one of 24 wireless carriers who rely on Intrado's expertise in the wireless 9-1-1 services market.

Cingular will employ Intrado's Phase I and Phase II services to ensure that emergency assistance can be immediately deployed to customers who dial 9-1-1. Intrado's Phase I services provide the appropriate public safety answering point (PSAP) with the caller's ten-digit telephone number and cell site location, and its Phase II services additionally provide emergency communications personnel with the caller's latitude and longitude location.

Cingular will also depend on Intrado to collect, prepare and update the critical database information required to support wireless 9-1-1 services and to coordinate 9-1-1 service implementation and operation with the PSAPs, local exchange carriers and 9-1-1 network providers.
