Cingular Wireless Names Tammi Terrell Vice President and General Manager of San Diego/Las Vegas/Hawaii Market.

SAN DIEGO -- Terrell one of 27 VP/GMs named as part of new leadership team after merger with AT&T Wireless

Cingular Wireless has named Tammi Terrell as Vice President and General Manager of San Diego, Las Vegas and Hawaii, which is part of the company's new West Region. The newly combined company is now the country's biggest wireless provider with more than 46 million customers and has the largest digital voice and data network in the nation. Terrell, formerly Vice President of Sales -- Nevada for AT&T Wireless, will be based in San Diego.

In her new role, Terrell will be responsible for Cingular's operations in San Diego, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Terrell will oversee business and financial matters for the designated markets in her region.

"Tammi has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the wireless industry, and I can think of no better person to manage this important region and lead its success in the future," said Brian Shay, West Region President of Cingular Wireless. "She will help make the strategic decisions and execute plans that deliver wireless innovation to consumers in this part of the country while leveraging advantages of the merger."

Terrell served as Vice President of Sales -- Nevada for AT&T Wireless where she was responsible for sales and operations, including retail and indirect channels, in the area. She began her wireless career in 1989 in northwest Florida. Terrell has held several sales leadership positions throughout her 15 years in the telecommunications industry and has considerable experience in merger integration.

Terrell is a graduate of the University of West Florida.
