Cinergy has been able to meet customer demands with its own supply and planned purchases from other regional electric suppliers. Power supplies on the regional power grid continue to be adequate to meet customer needs.

The company did not have to implement a program called PowerShare with large volume industrial and commercial customers under which the company pays these customers to reduce their electric demand by a contracted amount during period of high demand.
