Cinemas cut teen costs.


TEENAGERS are to get the magic of the movies on the cheap.

The Vue cinema chain will today become the first in Britain Britain (brĭt`ən), alternate term for Great Britain, comprised of England, Scotland, and Wales. Often used synonymously with the United Kingdom, the name Britain is derived from Britannia,  to introduce special prices for teenagers, offering savings of up to pounds 3 on a ticket.

Vue, who have six cinemas in Scotland, say kids start to visit the cinema less when they turn 15 and have to pay adult prices.

 said: "We think it's unfair that teenagers have to pay full adult prices and launched a trial to test tickets for teens last year.

"After a fantastic response, we have now introduced teen tickets across the circuit."
