), a leading motion picture exhibitor, announced today that Carlos M. Sepulveda, Roger T. Staubach and Donald G. Soderquist have been elected to the Board of Directors of Cinemark, effective as of June 29, 2007. They are replacing Robin P. Selati, James N. Perry and Joseph E. Syufy, who have resigned from the board.

Mr. Sepulveda, 49, has been President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Interstate Battery System International, Inc., a seller of automotive and commercial batteries, since May 2004 and its Executive Vice President from 1995 until 2004. Prior to Interstate, he was with the accounting firm of KPMG KPMG Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (accounting firm)

 Peat Marwick in Austin, New York and San Francisco for 11 years. Mr. Sepulveda will serve as Chairman on Cinemark's Audit Committee.

Mr. Staubach, 65, is the founder and Executive Chairman of The Staubach Company, a market leading global commercial real estate strategy and services firm. Prior to founding The Staubach Company, Mr. Staubach played professional football from 1969 to 1979 with The Dallas Cowboys. Mr. Staubach currently serves on the board of directors of AMR (1) (Adaptive Multi-Rate) A variable rate speech codec selected by the 3GPP for the 3G evolution of the GSM cellphone system (WCDMA).
