Cinemark's Century Theatres to Accept Credit Cards.


PLANO Plano (plā`nō), city (1990 pop. 128,713), Collin co., N Tex., less than 20 mi (32 km) NE of Dallas; inc. 1873. In a farm and livestock area on the blackland prairie, Plano is a booming financial and commercial center, with headquarters of many , TX -- Cinemark USA, Inc. has announced that all of their Century Theatre locations will begin accepting Mastercard([R]) and Visa([R]) credit cards beginning Friday, November 17, 2006. Credit cards can now be used in all of Cinemark's Century theatre locations to purchase tickets at the box office and concession stand Concession stand is the term used to refer to a place where patrons can purchase snacks or food at a cinema, fair, Stadium, or other entertainment venue. Some events or venues contract out the right to sell food to third parties.  items. All other Cinemark locations do accept credit cards.

"We are always looking to improve the movie-going experience for our customers," says Alan Stock, President of Cinemark USA, Inc. "Credit cards will help speed up box office and concession lines and get patrons into their seats much faster."
