CinemaStar Luxury Theaters announces plans to build 14-screen UltraPlex theater in Riverside; Mission Grove Plaza Theater to be chain's largest UltraPlex Theater.

Ellison also noted that CinemaStar theaters include luxurious amenities such as plush reclining chairs with built-in drink holders, extra leg room between seats, superior customer service, and "cast members" who introduce each film. "We are very excited about bringing another CinemaStar luxury film entertainment center to Riverside," he added.

In late July, CinemaStar announced plans to develop and operate a luxurious 10-screen theater complex in the University Village project near the U.C. Riverside campus. The University Village Theater will be opening in the spring of 1996. The CinemaStar design and construction team managing the Riverside project will be lead by architect, Gregory Siminoff of Newport Beach Newport Beach, residential and resort city (1990 pop. 66,643), Orange co., S Calif., on Newport Bay and the Pacific Ocean; inc. 1906. It is a popular seaside resort and yachting center. Manufactures include electrical and medical equipment, computers, boats, and adhesives. ; Joe E. The Mission Grove Plaza shopping center sits on a 43-acre site in the Canyon Crest area of Riverside. The current anchor tenants are Ralphs and Kmart. According to Jack Sweeney of Regional Properties Inc., the center's general partner, the CinemaStar theater will be part of Mission Grove Plaza's second phase of development. At the completion of this phase, the center will have approximately 350,000 square feet of building space.

CinemaStar Luxury Theaters, formerly Nickelodeon Theaters, operates three multiplex theaters in San Diego County, including the Galaxy 6 in Bonsall, the Mission Marketplace 8 in Oceanside, and the Chula Vista 10.
