Cincinnati's Bockfest kicks off Feb. 24.

 will take place in the city simultaneously. Ironically, one of the reasons that the Bach Festival will be held in the city is the presence of the Christian Moerlein organ at Phillippus Church in Over-the-Rhine. The Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. was one of the company's largest in the late 19th century, and Hudepohl-Schoenling has carried on the name for its line of specialty brands. The Cincinnati Bockfest was started by Hudepohl-Schoenling in 1993.
