The Cimage '98 portfolio includes the following new software releases:

DM-Net v3.2 is an easy to customize Internet/intranet solution providing access to core document management functionality from a standard web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. DM-Net's Internet-based approach dramatically reduces the cost of deployment of document management solutions by transforming the Intranet "view only" environment into a complete document management system.

DM Desktop v3.2, the 32-bit Windows desktop client, introduces significant enhancements over the previous release. The DM Desktop is the primary user interface for accessing information held in the Cimage Document Manager Server, the enterprise repository for engineering drawings and related documentation. Simple to use at all levels, the product has considerably enhanced file management capabilities with easier document and file association, as well as improved reporting facilities.

Enhanced 3rd party software integration is also provided, including close integration with Staffware Workflow. The Cimage workflow integration combines the strengths of the Cimage and Staffware product suites to provide workflow processes with document management control. This greatly facilitates the management of documents and data with any Staffware workflow case. Examples include, engineering changes, document routing, design sign-offs, etc.

In addition, the inclusion of DM for Microstation v3.1 and DM for AutoCAD v3.1 provides integration of Cimage document management with Microstation 95 for Windows and AutoCAD release 13 & 14 for Windows, respectively. These products add a drop-down menu See pull-down menu.
