Cignal Global Communications, a next-generation international data carrier, today announced the launch of its advanced global network in Canada, bringing its low-priced international voice, Internet and ATM data services to Canadian telecommunications carriers and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Cignal's new integrated voice/data switch site in Toronto is the Company's fifth North American point of presence and its first in Canada. Canada is the latest in a series of top-tier countries to be added to Cignal's network, which is rolling out at an aggressive rate of one country per month. The Company will be positioned in 14 countries by year end 1999 and 26 countries by mid-2000.

Cignal's advanced global network integrates and delivers all services - voice, video and Internet- over a single facilities-based infrastructure.
