 Experience

Ciclismo Classico, the premier specialist in cycling/hiking adventure tours, presents three new itineraries for the 2005 schedule. In Ciclismo-Land, we all share the same deep passions: a love of Italy, people and learning through active travel. Our experience and dedication to these passions drives us to design and deliver the most rewarding and enjoyable active vacations on the planet.

For sixteen years we have chosen to grow the depth of our active Italian vacations. This focus drives our excellent reputation that keeps growing among our guests and industry peers. We have led over 6000 guests on hundreds of tours all over Italy. If it is active travel in Italy, there's no comparison -- we have something for everyone: beginner to advanced tours, off-the-beaten track tours, hiking tours, multi-sport tours, long distance journeys, island escapes, and family excursions. We know Italy and Italy knows us.

SUPER EASY BIKE AND BARGE

Ciclismo Classico's new Bike and Barge trip follows the course of Italy's longest river, the majestic Po. Throughout the week riders will shift from bikes to boat as the itinerary unfolds along the second half of the river, exploring the Emiglia-Romana region. Guests will discover composer Giuseppe Verdi's roots; explore the jewel cities of Parma, Ferrara and Mantova; and explore the natural sights on the Mincio Reserve.
