Chyron Wins Substantial Router Contract With British Telecom; BT Broadcast Services Selects 1024 X 1024 Router.

Chyron Corporation (OTC BB: CYRO), a leading provider of broadcast technology, today announced that its Pro-Bel Division has won a contract to supply a 1024 x 1024 digital routing, distribution, network monitoring and control system for British Telecom Ignite's Broadcast Services division.

With this installation, Chyron will provide one of the largest router systems in Europe, enabling BT Broadcast Services to manage its growing network distribution for its existing and future UK broadcast base.

The Pro-Bel equipment comprises a multi-format ASI and SDI routing system, which is based on the popular Eclipse product range. The complete system incorporates an extensive signal distribution system that uses over 700 DA's and 65 kilometers of video cable. This equipment replaces existing facilities in London at the B.T. Tower and will be installed during October/November 2001.
