Chyron Launches Three Interactive TV Authoring Products for Professional Television Environment; Products Showcased at NAB Trade Show.

Chyron Corporation (NYSE:CHY), a leading provider of high-end broadcast technology, today announced the launch of three interactive TV products, Lyric iTV, DCC Interactive and CG Interactive, to fulfill the growing demand from interactive television networks for more powerful, user-friendly products.

Lyric iTV provides iTV content creation and deployment features useful for both traditional television graphics artists and iTV content developers. Lyric iTV is the next generation of Chyron's premier television graphics software.

DCC Interactive is a powerful module that enables Pro-Bel's family of high-end media asset system and automation products to deliver enhanced iTV content as part of the regular transmission operation. DCC Interactive is ideally suited for dynamic broadcast schedules where timings and running order change at the last minute. Using DCC Interactive, broadcasters can now take advantage of tight timing control, and flexible scheduling, together with the support offered by a fully featured asset database behind the scenes.

CG Interactive is an Interactive Television upgrade package for Chyron's popular iNFiNiT! family and Duet Character Generator systems. CG Interactive allows Interactive TV content to be automatically inserted into the television signal, linked to on-air graphics. The simple, intuitive user interface enables iTV content to be associated with Chyron graphics templates to create state-of-the-art synchronous enhanced television productions.
