), the leading provider of broadcast graphics solutions, has announced that it is to supply IDP, the French developer of the RegieLine interactive television publishing suite, with its Lyric iTV content creation toolset.

Under the terms of the agreement Chyron Corporation and IDP's technical teams will jointly develop an interface to ensure complete compatibility between Chyron's Lyric iTV software, a powerful tool for creating broadcast interactive graphics, and RegieLine, IDP's multi-platform tool for publishing interactive TV applications.

This new solution integrating Lyric iTV and RegieLine, will provide a complete system for interactive television application management, from visual content creation through to broadcast and will combine the simplicity of Lyric iTV's high-quality graphical image creation, with RegieLine's equally user-friendly solution for integrating these images into i-TV services, which are created independently from the chosen platform or decoder.

The version of RegieLine integrated with Lyric iTV will be of particular interest to television channels and iTV producers seeking to enrich the visual presentation of their interactive applications, while maintaining a consistent look and feel between television and iTV graphics.
