Chyron Corporation (NYSE: CHY), a leading provider of broadcast hardware, software and services spanning television and the Internet, today announced that the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC), the world's premier broadcast technology event, has chosen Chyron Internet Services, a division of Chyron Corporation, to provide web streaming facilities for the event. This marks the first time that IBC will web cast its week long convention in Amsterdam. The new web cast will reach a global audience in real time, providing an opportunity for those who cannot attend to view the key moments from the convention.

At the same event, Internet Broadcasting Association (iBA), a new US-based consortium of manufacturing and solution providers for web casting whose aim is to ensure a high standard of Internet broadcasting, has chosen Chyron Internet Services to provide a turnkey solution for streamed media on their web site www.ibaglobal.com. Chyron Internet Services will provide encoders and hosting for iBA.
