Church & Dwight Co., Inc. Declares Dividend Increase.

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (NYSE:CHD), manufacturer of ARM & HAMMER(R) consumer and specialty products, today reported that the Board of Directors declared a 16% increase in the regular quarterly dividend from $.06 per share to $.07, equivalent to an annual dividend of $.28 cents.

This quarterly dividend will be payable September 1, 2006 to stockholders of record at the close of business on August 14, 2006. It is the Company's 422nd regular consecutive quarterly dividend.

The Company previously increased its dividend in August 2004.

James R. Craigie, Church & Dwight's Chief Executive Officer, said, "Today's action is an indication of the Board of Directors' confidence in the Company's performance and financial strength."
