Church's Signs Two New Franchisees, Expands with Plans for More Than Six New Units Across the Country; Church's Family Tree Adds New Branches During ''It's Your Time to Grow'' Signing Ceremony.


Church's Chicken Church's Chicken is a U.S. chain of fast food restaurants specializing in fried chicken. The chain was founded as Church's Fried Chicken To Go by George W. Church, Sr. on April 17, 1952 in San Antonio, across the street from The Alamo. :
WHAT: Photo and interview opportunities as two new Church's
    Chicken(TM) franchisees sign franchise agreements to open more
    than six new Church's units during "It's Your Time To Grow"
    signing ceremony.

    A potted tree, representing Church's growth, rich heritage and
    family values, will be presented to each new franchisee to plant
    on the grounds of his first new Church's unit. New restaurants are
    planned for, but not limited to the following markets:

                      Greensboro, North Carolina
                             Troy, Alabama

    VISUALS: Franchisees signing their new agreements, presentation of
    live potted trees, family style dinner featuring Church's menu
    items in the tradition of a Southern supper, Church's memorabilia
    and photos from some of the company's first restaurants
