Church's Chicken Announces New CFO; Louis J. - Dusty - Profumo Brings 30 Years Experience to Church's.


ATLANTA -- Church's Chicken Church's Chicken is a U.S. chain of fast food restaurants specializing in fried chicken. The chain was founded as Church's Fried Chicken To Go by George W. Church, Sr. on April 17, 1952 in San Antonio, across the street from The Alamo. (TM) announced today that Louis J. (Dusty) Profumo will step in as the new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Profumo has 30 years business experience, including 20 in the restaurant industry. He most recently served as CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  and Treasurer of Avado Brands, Inc. The appointment of Profumo as CFO is the latest of several new developments for Church's Chicken. The Church's system was purchased by Crescent Capital Investments, Inc. in November 2004. Crescent Capital Investments, Inc. is an Atlanta-based private equity firm with several portfolio companies in the retail and consumer products industries, including Caribou Coffee Company and Loehmann's Holdings Inc.
