LAS VEGAS -- Chumby announced today its plans to deliver personalized Internet content to consumer devices. At CES 2009, chumby[R] will show its ready-for-market solution for digital photo frames, televisions and other connected devices to stream chumby content of over 1,000 widgets in 30 different categories ranging from news and entertainment to music and sports, as well as thousands of Internet radio stations, online video clips and more.

"We are bringing the chumby experience to all consumer devices in the home," said Stephen Tomlin, CEO, chumby. "Chumby offers a complete solution for delivering the best of the Internet to consumer devices, and we are delighted to reveal our plans to the consumer electronics industry for the first time at CES."

In the Center Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (booth #14448), chumby will display prototypes and reference designs for digital photo frames, which will give consumers free access to all of chumby services and personalized Internet content. In addition, consumers will be able to mix and view photos and videos (from their camera, computer and Web), use the touchscreen to drag and drop to create and share multimedia photo slideshows, capture and share photos with the frame's embedded camera, and control all their connected screens from one Web-based account. And, chumby-powered products keep getting better over time because they constantly receive free, automatic software and content upgrades.
