The 50s icon was due to kick off his UK tour in Liverpool this Saturday, but the date has now been postponed until March, 2010.

The promoter blamed "a lack of lead-in time to prepare the marketing and advertising for what promises to be a great rock 'n' roll tour."

Ticket holders have been advised to keep hold of their tickets as they will be valid for the March dates.
