Chuck E. Cheese launches "Chuck E.'s Awesome Adventure Machine" to go where no mouse has gone before.


DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 1996--Chuck E. Cheese (R) is going high-tech with the premier of his new Awesome Adventure Machine (TM). The company plans to test Chuck E.'s Awesome Adventure Machine for several months in Dallas before bringing it to the rest of the country. ShowBiz has also been in the process of repositioning their restaurants. The Company currently plans to reposition substantially all of its Company-operated restaurants by the end of 1996 and had completed 155 restaurants or 69% of all Company-operated restaurants at the end of the second quarter.
