Christos G. Tatsis, 78.


WORCESTER Christos G. Tatsis, 78, passed away Thursday, August 13 at home surrounded by his family.

He leaves his beloved wife of 51 years, Helen (Maniatas) Tatsis. He was the devoted father to George C. and his wife, Denise Tatsis of Grafton and Sophia and her husband, Anthony Pentikis of Lynn. He was the loving grandfather to, Joanna Joanna, in the Bible
Joanna, in the New Testament.

, Christina, Christos, Noelle and C.J. He also leaves his brother, Kostas Tatsis and two sisters, Stavroula Lihouna and Eleni Athanasopoulos all of Greece and many nieces and nephews. His brother, Spiro Tatsis predeceased him.

He was born in Kavala, Greece the son of George and Martha George and Martha

The funeral will be held on Monday, August 17 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., with a service at 10:00 AM at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell St. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery Hope Cemetery is located in Barre, Vermont, the self-proclaimed "Granite Capital of the World", and is renowned for the superb granite craftsmanship on its memorials and tombstones. Hope Cemetery was established in 1895, and then consisted of 53 acres.
