Michailoff has joined the firm as Deputy General Counsel, GAMCO Investors GAMCO Investors, Inc formely known as Gabelli Asset Management Company is a provider of investment advice and brokerage services to mutual funds, institutional and select investors. It is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol GBL. , Inc. Mr. Michailoff was formerly with the Securities and Exchange Commission, beginning in the Division of Market Regulation in 1992 and subsequently in the Office of Compliance Inspections & Examinations, before being named Senior Counsel in the SEC's Division of Enforcement in August of 1996. Following nearly seven years at the Commission, Mr. Michailoff was named Assistant General Counsel & Vice President at PaineWebber Inc. Since 2001, he has been Counsel and First Vice President at Citigroup Capital Markets Inc. Mr. Michailoff will report to James E. McKee, General Counsel of Gabelli Asset Management Inc. Mr. Michailoff has a BA from Fairfield University and a JD from Catholic University. He is married and currently resides in Westchester County, NY.
