The club has been voted as number 1 club in the south west for the last two years running by the Ministry of Sound magazine Hotel and the site of the old Macmillan's club transformed into five themed warehouse areas. Each area will host a different strand of northern dance music incorporating everything from the last 40 years of the genre. The Phreek event will have the top DJ talents from Teesside, the north of England, the UK and the USA, all tasked with the same job of re-uniting revellers and music fans with the scene. One of the many top names on the bill will be superstar TODD TERRY Todd Terry (born 12 November 1966 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American DJ and music producer and remixer, one of the producers who helped to define New York's house music during the 1980s. , Grammy Award The Grammy Awards (originally called the Gramophone Awards) are presented annually by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States for outstanding achievements in the record industry. The current President of the Academy is Neil Portnow. nominated DJ/producer who has been engulfed in dance music since he first started listening to European dance music records while growing up in Brooklyn. Already devoted to turntables, he heard something different in those tracks, and he "went for the difference. The original cassettes are highly prized today, with people inundating Chad's website for copies of these famous mixes.
