Christmas boost for motorists.CHRISTMAS shoppers can benefit from free parking in Huddersfield town centre. Kirklees Council announced the move yesterday in an attempt to boost trading. Parking - both on-street and in council-run car parks - will be free from 4pm on Thursdays from November 19 until December 24 and all day on Sundays from November 22 until December 20.
