CHRISTMAS has come early for one Birmingham retailer - which has put its festive fes·tive  
adj.
1. Of, relating to, or appropriate for a feast or festival.

The Sheldon branch of Card Factory, in Coventry Road The Coventry Road Ground is a cricket stadium based in the town of Hinckley, Leicestershire. It was established in 1946 but demolished in 1964.

But a spokesman for the firm insisted it was not jumping the gun.

"Lots of our customers like to spread the cost of Christmas, so we make sure we launch our Christmas ranges in plenty of time," said the spokesman.

"They seem to be going down very well with customers and the staff are enjoying getting into the Christmas mood."

London retailers Selfridges, Harrods and Fortnum & Mason are all stocking festive ranges in the hope that they will help to beat the gloom gloom
