Christmas Comes Early for Riverside Couple.


WHAT:               Press conference where Senator Dutton,
                    Assemblymember Emerson, Yucaipa Mayor Riddell, and
                    Lottery officials present Steve and Debra Cifelli,
                    California's newest millionaires, with a check for
                    $10,871,527.38.  Also being recognized will be the
                    local business establishment -- Party Pantry, who
                    will receive a check for the amount of $135,000
                    for selling the winning ticket.  Come and witness
                    the California Lottery contributing to positive
                    changes in people's lives and have the chance to
                    meet the winners as they receive their check and
                    discuss their future plans for their prize.

PAYMENT OPTION:     The winners, who chose the cash option, will
                    receive a one time cash payment of $14,495,369
                    (before a 25% Federal withholding tax).  There are
                    no state or local taxes.

RETAILER BONUS:     Commission for selling a winning SuperLotto Plus
                    jackpot ticket is $135,000 or one-half of one
                    percent of the jackpot.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO    California's public schools will receive more than
EDUCATION:          $17 million from the sales from this jackpot.
