Christine P. (Maintanis) Garback, 89.WORCESTER Christine P. Garback (Maintanis), 89, wife of the late Francis E. Garback passed quietly on April 12, 2009. She is survived by her children: Charlene Mello (Garback) and her husband Robert Mello; grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. Sometimes these may claim bequests given in a will to children, though in general they can make no such claim. 6 Co. 16. : Elena Mello and Robert Mello, all of Naples Florida; and her son, Michael J. Garback of Worcester. Two brothers: Angelo Maintainis of Providence, RI, Stephen Maintainis of Auburn, MA and several nieces and nephews. Three predeceased sisters: Ricki, Bertha, Amelia and brother, Charles, recently deceased. Born June 28,1919 in Grafton to parents John and Mary (Sigalos) Maintanis. Christine retired in 1976 from Glavin Medical Center where she worked as a mental health assistant. She was also a member in good standing of the MA State Employees Assoc. and Friends of Seniors. Christine had a zeal for life and family whom she loved. She was an inspiration, mentor and friend. We will never forget you mom and "yai,yai".
