Christ arise.

I just started skating skating: see ice skating; ice dancing; roller skating.
skating

Sport in which bladelike runners or sets of wheels attached to shoes are used for gliding on ice or on surfaces other than ice.
about six months ago on Easter Easter [A.S. Eastre, name of a spring goddess], chief Christian feast, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus after his crucifixion. In the West, Easter is celebrated on the Sunday following the full moon next after the vernal equinox (see calendar); thus, it  of 2004. My dad got me a board and I rode it for awhile a·while
adv.
For a short time.

Usage Note: Awhile, an adverb, is never preceded by a preposition such as for, but the two-word form a while may be preceded by a preposition.
and it broke so I then got an Element. I'm pretty good at it now. Learned a few tricks, but that's not why I'm writing you. I am writing because at my school there is an assload of posers. I mean people who dress like they skate skate, fish: see ray.
skate

Any of nine genera (suborder Rajoidea) of rounded to diamond-shaped rays. These bottom-dwellers are found from tropical to near-Arctic waters and from the shallows to depths of more than 9,000 ft (2,700 m).
but don't. They'll wear an Element shirt one day and come back the next with an American Eagle shirt and AE flip flops on. I do not understand why people want to dress like they skate. I thought that was the gross thing to do, and "you're nasty" if you skate. People are getting into skating for all the wrong reasons. They will try and start to skate just because they want to justify wearing Etnies. If you skate you should love skating and skate for no reason other than that. If you just love to get on board no matter where you are, then I think you are a skaten But you are not one if you only skate when friends are around. You could ask any of these kids what a 50-50 is and they will not know. If you don't know Don't know (DK, DKed)

"Don't know the trade." A Street expression used whenever one party lacks knowledge of a trade or receives conflicting instructions from the other party.
what a 50-50 is, there's a good chance you don't skate at all. Skate because you love to skate, not to look cool in a Barn shirt.
