After all, in their roles as king and queen of primetime TV, he's as well known for his sharp designer suits as she is for her breathtaking outfits. But Chris was Carol's guest on a forthcoming Stars In Their Lives, and they were only too happy to team up again for some festive fun, exclusively for The Look. Suddenly aware of his absurd outfit, and of having Carol perched on his knee, Chris giggled at the photo session, "What are we doing here?" Both burst out laughing and, as a wind machine whipped up a fake plastic snowstorm around them, he added with a smile, "I'm never working with Carol Vorderman again!" In fact, this photo shoot is the third time they have worked together. Their first joint project was when Carol appeared on Celebrity Millionaire and won pounds 125,000 for charity. And they both plan to watch their second collaboration when Stars In Their Lives is shown on New Year's Eve. At the moment it seems Christmas will be just as busy as the rest of the year has been for both of them. This has been a momentous year for Carol, who received her MBE MBE (in Britain) Member of the Order of the British Empire MBE n abbr (BRIT) (= Member of the Order of the British Empire) → tÃtulo ceremonial MBE n abbr (Brit) (= from the Queen last Tuesday. On Christmas Day he will host a live morning show on Capital, then appear in a Mr And Mrs-style Millionaire special. He says, "I'll be home by 1.30pm when I'll collapse with the biggest drink in the world." Chris admits he found it strange being the subject of Stars In Their Lives. "Most of the guests spent the whole day taking the mickey out of me," he recalls. "I thought it was supposed to be a tribute show. To top it all my 15-year-old daughter Fia revealed she'd had her tongue pierced two months ago. And then the Phantom Flan Flinger came on and pelted me with a custard pie! Thanks, Carol." But Chris has the last laugh and turns to Carol as he reveals, "There was one guy on that show who was supposed to be someone from my childhood, but I'd never set eyes on him before. I just pretended I had because I didn't want to embarrass you." Stars In Their Lives, New Year's Eve, ITV, 6.45pm. CHRIS v CAROL Are you a Noel know-all?
