"Chris Anderson brings a special combination of experience and capability to his new job, and he will be leading our growth in these important areas for us," Mr. Lovett said.

Mr. Anderson joined Ingram in 1989. Most recently, he has served as Senior Vice President for Business Development at both PRI and Ingram Fulfillment Partners. Previously he had leadership responsibilities for operations, client services, special projects, market development, and the new media division.

"I am excited about the opportunity to take our company into the next phase of its growth," he said. "We are always working to expand our traditional book distribution channels serving the needs of book publishers. And at Ingram Fulfillment Partners we are applying Ingram's well-known expertise in distribution to other industries - particularly the gift, garden and home-decorative accessories industry."

Mr. Anderson served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
