Chr. Hansen Selects Wonderware EMI & MES Solutions.


LAKE FOREST, Calif. -- Wonderware, a business unit of Invensys, today announced that Chr. Hansen Chr. Hansen is a Danish food production company. They sell a wide variety of pharmaceutical grade exipients. The group employs approximately 2,500 employees in more than 30 countries and reported revenue of EUR 521m (DKK 3.77m DKK)in 2005/06.

, one of the world's leading producers of ingredients for food, pharmaceutical, nutritional and agricultural industries, has selected Wonderware software to manage operations at its facilities worldwide.

The Denmark-based company plans to deploy the Wonderware Manufacturing Execution System

Manufacturing execution system (MES) describes a set of integrated functions within a packaged software system or it can also describe the accumulated functionality within the production management infrastructure of a manufacturing or production company.

The Wonderware EMI solution features the ability to analyze its overall operational performance using simple, yet powerful data analysis and reporting tools.

Chr. Hansen plans to install the Wonderware solutions at its worldwide facilities located in Denmark, France, Germany and the U.S. The first implementation will begin in September 2009 at its plant in Avedore, Denmark.
